Media-based report · see original reporting below

Key points
- BYD and vivo announce deeper AI-agent cooperation
- A phone–car ecosystem agreement does not establish a universal feature rollout.
- Editorial analysis: earlier mirroring and the newly proposed agent integration are different layers of information; the old feature is not a new addition from this agreement. The report lists no specific compatible cars, phones, software versions, fees or rollout dates for the new cooperation. Owners need device-specific compatibility and feature lists rather than assuming their own car is supported because the brands cooperate.
Reported details
IT Home’s Haomiao reported on November 5 that BYD and vivo announced strategic cooperation aimed at cross-device AI-agent integration. Vivo says they have worked together since 2019 on phone–car connectivity and smart entry, and plan deeper coordination between smart devices and new-energy vehicles. The report recalls that OriginOS announced broader BYD phone–car connectivity in August 2025, supporting phone-screen mirroring to the vehicle display.
