Key points

  • A one-tap privacy switch and a navigation-during-calls toggle target cabin privacy.
  • Scheduled Sentry Mode and smart car finding add practical parking tools.
  • Detour data, five dashcam views, cluster lyrics and a revised DiLink interface vary by hardware and rollout batch.

Reported details

IT Home reported on October 26 that Fangchengbao had begun the sixth OTA rollout for the Tai 7 in China. The release focuses on cabin software and everyday workflows; it does not announce changes to power, range or chassis hardware. The most direct additions are a one-tap privacy control in the shortcut panel and a separate switch for navigation prompts during phone calls.

Parking functions receive several smaller changes. Owners can schedule when Sentry Mode turns on or off, Parking Assistant can issue proactive order reminders, and the surround-view screen gains a mirror-fold shortcut. Smart car finding can show vehicle photos in the mobile app or use the transparent-chassis view to help confirm a position; it is not remote summon.

Navigation search results now show the extra time and distance caused by a detour. The dashcam’s paused and preview screens can switch among five views, while the instrument cluster gains lyric display. DiLink also receives layout, animation and visual changes. The published list does not say every item applies to every trim, so cars without the relevant sensors or hardware may differ.

Before installing, owners should check the applicable vehicle, estimated duration and required battery or parking conditions. After the update, navigation-call audio, Sentry scheduling and dashcam permissions deserve a manual review because new default switches may not match each driver’s preferences.

Editorial interpretation

Editorial analysis: the update’s value comes from a group of frequently used details rather than one headline feature. Privacy, phone prompts and scheduled Sentry Mode can affect data exposure or standby energy use, so owners should review their settings. The image is a same-generation official Tai 7 reference, not an OTA screenshot and not proof of equipment on every version.

What it means

IT Home lists Haomiao as author and October 26, 2026 at 20:58:18 as publication time. The feature list is independently reorganized from that report; model identity and image provenance were checked on Fangchengbao’s official product page.
