Geely signs its 100th UK retail site: opening status still matters

The Mansfield agreement expands Geely’s dealer partnerships; the milestone counts signed sites rather than confirmed operating showrooms.

Key points

  • Evans Halshaw Geely Mansfield is the 100th signed UK retail site.
  • The agreement adds Mansfield, Newcastle and a location east of Glasgow.
  • The target remains 100 operating sites by the end of 2026.

Reported details

Geely Auto UK announced on 19 October 2026 that Evans Halshaw Geely Mansfield became its 100th signed retail site. The signing took place at the company’s Ansty headquarters.

The agreement adds three Evans Halshaw locations: Mansfield, Newcastle and a site east of Glasgow. These join its existing Lincoln operation.

The manufacturer still describes 100 operating sites by the end of 2026 as a target. Its release does not provide a count of locations already open, so the signing milestone should not be presented as a completed opening programme.

Editorial interpretation

For buyers, the useful question is whether a nearby site can already arrange test drives, warranty work and servicing. A signed agreement alone does not confirm that those services are available.

This is a distribution update, not a vehicle launch or price announcement. Readers should check the local dealer’s opening date and support arrangements before making a purchase decision.
