Reported details
Volkswagen Anhui launched the ID.UNYX 09 on October 24. Autohome’s original news report, published at 14:45 that day, lists three trims with guide prices of RMB 179,900–249,900. This marks the move into formal sales rather than another presentation of a previously shown car.
Prices have different meanings. Volkswagen Anhui’s official hero image displays a RMB 179,900 guide-price starting point alongside a RMB 169,900 Double 11 promotional starting price. The complete eligible-trim, allocation and order-deadline terms have not been obtained for this report. The offer is therefore not presented as a universal reduction or a final on-road price for any specific trim.
The battery-electric fastback measures 5,081 × 1,980 × 1,509 (1,526) mm, with a 3,030 mm wheelbase, according to Autohome. The rear-drive motor produces up to 230 kW; AWD has 140 kW front and 230 kW rear motors. Reported CLTC ranges are 755 and 705 km respectively: different drivetrain ratings, not measured real-world results.
The official product page highlights Apple CarPlay, CarLink and HiCar, alongside dual-chamber air suspension and adaptive damping. It also states that some equipment is optional or reserved for higher trims. The entire showcase must not be treated as the specification of the entry-price car; each order needs a trim-specific equipment check.
Editorial interpretation
Editorial view: rear-drive versus AWD is the first meaningful choice. AWD adds a front motor but has a lower published CLTC range. Buyers needing AWD should consider their charging arrangements as well as the drivetrain, rather than pairing rear-drive range with AWD hardware. Official fast-charging claims do not replace charging curves across temperatures, battery levels and charger conditions.
Full promotional terms, suspension equipment by trim and actual delivery scheduling are the three outstanding purchase questions.
