NIO adds a five-seat ES8 in China
A two-row ES8 joins the range, with launch pricing that distinguishes battery ownership from the BaaS subscription option.

The five-seat ES8 expands the large electric SUV line with a two-row layout. NIO’s release separates the vehicle price with a battery from the lower upfront BaaS price.
The BaaS figure is not a like-for-like total purchase price: the battery service has separate terms. The announcement concerns China and does not confirm an equivalent overseas launch.
