NIO sets out partner-led expansion into five European markets

NIO’s 17 June 2025 announcement sets out a partner-based route into additional European markets. It names JAP in Portugal, Motodynamics for Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria, and Nic. Christiansen Group in Denmark.
The proposed product range includes EL6, EL8, ET5, ET5 Touring and firefly, with timing varying by country. The announcement provides a useful historical baseline for following NIO’s regional expansion.
